P. Gournay, California, September 2013

The self guided tour allowed one to choose a rigorous or very easy hike each day. Davos is a dream with amazing transportation and a great variety of walks. The town itself is lovely and the hotel top notch. My favorite moments were ambling through a valley accompanied by a choir of cowbells and a few bovine encounters where two cows would team up and block the path and roll their eyes at me while occasionally threatening with a backside and tail raised! Perhaps some instruction in bovine trail etiquette might be helpful! I felt like Heidi!!

C. Stoyla and G. Vavrek, California, September 2013

We were unsure about taking a self guided tour but Davos is the place to do it. The maps provided are excellent, trails well marked. We added on difficulty when we wanted to, were able to walk at our pace and this turned out to be the key to making the self guided tour an excellent experience for us. We will definitely look at more self guided tour options in the future.

D. Myer, Vermont, July 2011

The walks were beautiful and easy. Great rugged mountains, some with snow, all around. Meadows full of a great variety of wildflowers of all colors.

J. McEnery, California, September 2012

Davos was a perfect place to do a Self-Guided tour. Except for one hike, all the trails were very well marked.

J. Berry, Maine, June 2012

The detailed hike descriptions gave us great flexibility—and the timing of our trip in early June was perfect for seeing alpine wildflowers in abundance, having the trails to ourselves, and enjoying a wide variety of hikes without moving from hotel to hotel The setting is beautiful!

D. Griffith, West Virginia, August 2012

Overall the experience was excellent, although tougher physically than expected. We accomplished each suggested route except day six when it rained. We opted that day for one of your alternate suggestions—hike to Wolfgang around the lake—which was delightful.

J. Berry, Maine, May 2013

Fantastic scenery and wild flowers with solitude on the trails.

R & J Collins, Oregon, June 2012

The information provided by CW was extremely well organized and provided the perfect amount of information to help us navigate train, bus and trail routes. Davos was a wonderful location to enjoy Switzerland—beautiful trails, friendly people, excellent hotel—we couldn't have asked for anything better! The hotel staff were wonderful, helpful, friendly, etc. We enjoyed the food and our room. The hotel was an excellent choice.

J. Gard, Illinois, August 2012

Everything was well taken care of, in advance, during and after. Lodging was excellent, meals were especially good, rooms were cozy neat clean and tasteful and the staff were all superbly interested in our comfort.

J. Cook, West Virginia, August 2012

This was our 6th tour with CW, and we rate it as one of the best. We traveled with another couple whom we introduced to CW. They also sung praises for the Davos Self-Guided tour. The scenery was beautiful, the people were friendly, and the overall experience was a memorable adventure.
